And is expected to open more this year.

Geely has shown excellent performance in the local market despite having to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. The Coolray is having a great run in terms of sales and is expected to thrive even further. Of note, Geely accomplished this feature with just one showroom.

Now, Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP), the official distributor of Geely in the country, is expanding the business network of the Chinese car brand by opening its second dealership. The new dealership is situated in Quezon City and is managed by its dealer partner, the Autohub Group.

The Geely Quezon Avenue showroom was initially planned to open in March this year but was delayed due to the government implemented enhanced community quarantine.

Before the quarantine, Geely is reported to open 15 showrooms this year, but it seems like these showrooms will be delayed until further notice.

The new showroom will start accommodating customers by July 31, 2020, and will be open Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

“This is just the start of SGAP and Geely’s plan to make it big in the Philippine automotive industry. As we begin to expand our nationwide dealership network, according to plan, we want to assure our customers that Geely is here to stay and exceed the expectations of Filipino car buyers,” SGAP President & CEO Mikihisa Takayama said.
