III. Why would you want to buy a BMW X1 2020?

Let’s face it, Crossovers have taken over the world due to several factors that make up appealing to a lot of people. It handles like a car and yet it has the space of an SUV. That being said, the X1 is certainly great in terms of leg room, head room, elbow room, and cargo room.

This is handy if you’re purchasing a vehicle as a family transport and it’s also great for bringing along your furry friends. The interior is after all dark and the leather more resistant to stains.

Overall, the BMW X1 is a luxurious and versatile vehicle

Another added benefit of the X1 is its overall performance, especially with the BMW X1 20D. Whether be it on the pavement, tight city roads, and highways or even on sketchy dirt roads. The X1 can rip mainly due to its excellent all-wheel-drive system that distributed power evenly on all wheels.

Additionally, the interior is really gorgeous and the controls are easy to use.

Like almost vehicle, there are still some cons when it comes with the X1. For one thing, the suspension can be a bit rough because the X1 was intended to give a sport feeling drive. Second is that the cabin can get noisy. And finally, the options that are available for the X1 can get quite pricey but that’s BMW for you.

IV. About BMW Philippines

Known fully as Bayerische Motoren Werke, BMW was formed back in 1916 but its roots can be traced back to 1913. Initially, they made aircraft engines and by the end of World War I, the company managed to stay afloat by producing farm equipment, motorcycle engines, and many more household items. In 1923, they then made their first-ever Motorcycle, the BMW R 32.

BMW didn’t start making cars until the 1930s and in 1952, they made the famous BMW 501 Luxury Saloon. It wasn’t until 1962 that the German company was associated with sporty vehicles like the BMW 700.

Primarily, BMW was known for making sporty, rear-wheel-drive cars. However, in 2014, they made the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer MPV, their very first front-wheel-drive vehicle.

Here in the Philippines, BMW vehicles are sold by the SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp and currently, they have eight dealerships spread around the country.

Currently, BMW Philippines’ line-up consists of the X-series of SUVs, the M series of performance vehicles, and the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 series of vehicles. For more information about BMW’s models, check out the review page dedicated to their models.
