The exterior design of the Tiggo 7 originates from the internationally-awarded winning Chery TX concept. It features a modern and forward-looking aesthetic, with a sleek front face accentuated by a chrome-plated strip running through the grille. Complementing the design are thin pulled-back Xenon headlamps. The two-layer black grille also comes with LED daytime running lights. On the rear are LED tiger-claw tail lights that are designed to echo the brand’s new aesthetic. The Chery Tiggo 7 rides on 18-inch alloy wheels.

The whole cabin sports a timeless black, brown, and gray color palette with premium, soft to touch materials that are environment-friendly and recyclable. Chery decked the interiors with a unique, innovative dashboard and sub-dashboard. Its unique structure is clean and straightforward with a brown accent bar traversing across under the infotainment system. All seats are wrapped in ergonomic leather weaved material with 2-stage seat heating functionalities. The driver’s seat comes with 6-way manual adjustability.

An additional feature of the Chery Tiggo 7 is a 0.92 m2 panoramic sunroof with electric sunblind. It is also equipped with plenty of rear compartment space all thanks to its 2,670mm wheelbase.

A 9-inch high definition capacitive touchscreen centers the Tiggo 7’s dashboard. The infotainment system is equipped with Bluetooth, USB, and screen mirroring capabilities. Apart from its multimedia features, the touchscreen can also access air-conditioning and vehicle settings. Meanwhile, another screen on the dashboard is a 4.8-inch color LCD with a dual-screen display that shows the cluster panel.

The Chery Tiggo 7 is also equipped with keyless entry and a push-button start system. Side mirrors can be folded automatically when the vehicle is locked. Additional safety features include hill start assist, a tire pressure monitoring system, and smart fog lights that automatically turn on when the vehicle detects low visibility.

The 5-seater compact crossover’s smooth-riding chassis is a monocoque frame. Its high 210mm ground clearance adds to the riding comfort especially through rough roads. The wheels of the Tiggo 7 are attached to a McPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link system in the rear. This type of suspension system provides a more comfortable ride for rear passengers.

Under the Chery Tiggo 7's hood is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that is paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). The engine produces a maximum of 145 hp and 210 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels through its highly efficient transmission. It comes with three drive modes which are sport, eco, and manual, to suit your preferred driving style.
