If you’ve been around cars a lot, then you’d definitely agree that the interior is one of the most important elements of a car. It’s where the driver and passengers sit in, and it’s where most of a car’s on-board tech is located. As such, car manufacturers nowadays are working really hard to improve car interiors in terms of styling, comfort, and even visual appeal.
For this year, Ward’s, which is one of the well-established car publications, has chosen the top ten best car interiors. So without further ado, here they are:
1. Audi E-Tron
The 2019 Audi-eTron’s plush interior is especially unique to its sleek center console that comes with a gear shifter where you can rest your palm on. Also, the dash uses natural burl walnut wood, which is also used in other technologically advanced electric-powered cars in the market today.
2. Bentley Flying Spur
When it comes to sheer eye candy, the Bentley Flying Spur’s “Cricket Ball Red” is a feast for the eyes. Its beauty however goes beyond the visual, as the leather that covers the seats actually uses pristine cowhides.
3. BMW X6 M Competition
If you want a sporty, modern-looking interior, then the BMW X6 M Competition trim can captivate you. But beyond that, it also offers some of the best in terms of adjustability in the form of its executive settings like sun protection, ambient lighting, seat ventilation, as well as the numerous driving modes that can be selected with a convenient twist of the command dial. Also, the red buttons on the steering wheel and on the center console add a very purposeful “fighter jet” aesthetic to the cockpit.

4. 8th-Generation Chevrolet Corvette
With the new Chevrolet Corvette moving its engine towards the rear of the driver’s seat, the interior is given a much airy feel. It now has better forward visibility, as well as a new center console that positions its buttons on a line.
Note also that every single button and screen on the new Corvette is oriented towards the driver making for a totally driver-oriented interior.
5. Hyundai Venue
While most of the cars in this list are either premium, luxury rides, or face-melting performance cars, the Hyundai Venue still has a place here due to its brilliantly designed interior.
And despite its price, it does come with a sufficient amount of on-board tech like the Hyundai Blue Link, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as the SiriusXM satellite radio.
Note also that the Venue Denim Edition is just as it says on the tin; the seats are clad in maong or that fabric they use on jeans providing the car a rugged, but very tasteful appearance.

6. Kia Telluride
With the Telluride, particularly the SX trim that’s available in the U.S., Kia goes out to show that it has really grown out of its awkward phase, which was prevalent back in the 1990s.
That being said, the Telluride uses high-quality materials like Nappa Leather, matte-finish wood film panels on the doors and the dash, and the space on the second-row seats are just impressive.
7. Lincoln Aviator
If we’re talking about space, however, then the Lincoln Aviator takes the cake. Why? Well, everything about its interior is massive. From the gigantic center console on both the front and the second-row, the versatility of its seats, to the amount of stuff it can haul around, the Aviator SUV is pretty much a winner.
Also notable on the Aviator is its minimalist digital gauge cluster that we’d want to be more common on more car models, as well as its tasteful use of white on the seats as well as on the soft-touch surfaces on the dash. It’s very elegant and very premium.
8. Mercedes-Benz GLB
In contrast to the radically colored interiors on this list, the Mercedes-Benz GLB opts for a darker, more sedate interior. Don’t mistake that for being a bore though because like the other models on this list, it also makes good use of premium materials, and the 64-color interior ambient lighting is a sight to behold.

9. 8th-Generation Nissan Sentra
Another affordable car on this list is the all-new Nissan Sentra. Sure, it isn’t as fancy and well equipped as the other cars on this list, but it’s probably the “most-improved” interior by far. Just look at it.
10. Toyota Highlander
Notable on the Toyota Highlander is its dashboard, which is dominated by this tuning fork-like shape which holds the touchscreen and climate controls in place. There’s also a wealth of soft-touch surfaces, with just the right amount of metallic trim pieces. It’s also a bit techy with its wireless phone charging tray, its large 12-inch touchscreen, and its driver-assist technologies is also extensive.
Do you agree with Ward’s list? For us, all of these interiors are great and do have something unique to them that helps them stand out. But for you, which one do you think is the best? For more lists like this, keep reading here on Philkotse.com.
