Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation temporarily closed its dealerships on March 17, 2020, in the entire Luzon to support the national government’s directives to fight the spread of COVID-19. MMPC said that the suspension of its operations will last until April 30, 2020.
With that, Mitsubishi Philippines addressed the issues of its customers regarding their scheduled PMS and warranty by providing a 30-day warranty extension until June 30, 2020, for vehicles with warranty expiring within the enhanced community quarantine extension.
In addition, the Japanese automaker also extended the PMS of its vehicles that are supposed to be scheduled within the quarantine period. The extension is 30 days after the quarantine has been lifted.
