Master Courses

While it appears that MJ Driving School has an excellent quality of service and very knowledgeable instructors, they only have one branch in Iloilo. As such, we recommend that you give them a call to schedule your sessions with them ahead of time to avoid unexpected waiting times. They are quite popular in their respective area after all.

As a driving school in Iloilo, GJN Driving Tutorial’s mission is to provide student drivers with a deeper understanding of traffic laws and regulations as well as the necessary skills to become a responsible, safe and confident defensive driver.

Note: Training consists of five days and for each day, a different skill or scenario will be presented to the student driver.

These include vehicle familiarization, highway and/or city driving in moderate traffic, city and highway driving in heavy traffic, city driving in heavy traffic with a focus specific city driving scenarios, and lastly parking.

Pros and Cons

First off, GJN Driving Tutorial’s website is pretty neat and they are very transparent with their scope of training.

Based on what we’ve seen alone on the aforementioned contents of their training courses, we can say with confidence that they’re pretty thorough in terms of educating a student driver on most scenarios one would encounter while driving day-to-day.

Also of note is that GJN training vehicles are actually modified with dual brakes. This means that their instructors are can also stop the car by use of an auxiliary brake pedal located on the passenger side of their training vehicles.

One con that we can see from GJN Driving Tutorial is that their training fleet to sedans. Despite that, we highly recommend GJN especially if you’re a particularly nervous or anxious on the steering wheel as their instructors are not only very knowledgeable but are also known to be patient and calm.

MC Imperial Driving School is another well-known driving school located in Iloilo who focuses on defensive driving.

Currently, MC Imperial has expanded its fleet of training vehicles and according to their reviews, they are indeed highly sought after for their professionalism and excellent service. Also noteworthy is their recognition from the Golden Globe Annual Awards for Business Excellence 2019 as the Best trusted Driving School in Iloilo.

MC Imperial is known to have a good track record in terms of providing a safe but also a very comprehensive learning experience for their student drivers. This is due to the fact that they have knowledgeable instructors who are both patient and competent in their jobs.

Also of note is the variety of their sedan training vehicles. And as we’ve mentioned before, MC Imperial has actually expanded their training fleet with their recently acquired Chevrolet Colorado Pick-up truck.

One downside to MC Imperial we can see is that in comparison to other driving schools in Iloilo, they do not have an official website. While that grip does not sound related at all with their ability to teach students, it does give any business an edge especially driving schools in this day and age.
