Overview

A-1 Driving school is one of the oldest driving schools in Cavite. With over 80 plus branches nationwide and 3 training centers around Metro Manila, only few can match up to their reach.

A-1 also has a very large fleet of 150 training vehicles which range from the humble Toyota Vios, SUVs, MPVs, and even cargo trucks.

In Cavite, A-1 has a total of eight branches and six of those are located in malls thus providing the convenience of close proximity to other necessary services.

Note: The prices of these courses are dependent on the length of time. As such, A-1 allows you to avail of lengthier training time for an additional cost. Also, the choice of training vehicle can affect pricing.

Pros and Cons

A-1 employs hundreds of people and has a lot of branches nationwide, so a degree of variety in terms of quality of service will be expected. In terms of Cavite branches though, their instructors are noted to be professional and the quality of service, in general, is up to par with the national standard that A-1 has placed on their branches.

One thing to remember however is that A-1 is very popular. They see hundreds of customers per day so there will be inevitable waiting times. As such, we highly suggest calling and scheduling your session with them ahead.

Overview

Established since August 2008 by Francisco and Marites Gavino, Smart Driving School has 76 branches within Metro Manila and in surrounding provinces. This makes them a very large and very established business that most definitely compete against the school listed above.

In Cavite alone, Smart has four branches and these ones are staffed by very knowledgeable and very professional driving instructors and staff.

Their training fleet is also very competitive. As of now, the Smart Driving School has around 134 training vehicles and they even have three training centers.

The Smart Driving School is also very well connected as they have a number of corporate partners and even some entities from the government like the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry.

Pros and Cons

The choices of courses and vehicle of the Smart Driving School is extensive. Include the professional and very knowledgeable instructors into the mix and you have a winning combination.

There are however some downsides to Smart Cavite branches. Due to their popularity, there will be wait times and some classes like car maintenance 101 can sometimes become quite crowded.

Overall though, the Smart Driving School is worth your time and money.

Overview

In Cavite, one of the most dominant driving schools right now is A1C. It is due to their very open and very fast response times on their social media sites and of course; their training method which puts great emphasis on the reduction of road accidents.

They do this through high-quality training of their student drivers and even their motto says: “Do not learn safety by accident”.

For pros, A1C is currently highly recommended on google reviews and Facebook and users say that their instructors are calm, patient, and very knowledgeable. A1C is also noted for their “no time limit” course which some student drivers will undoubtedly prefer.

As for downsides, A1C as far as we know has a smaller and less varied training fleet and that might be detrimental in some ways to schedule. They are after all very popular and have a lot of customers so scheduling ahead is wise.

Overview

Despite being a smaller business in comparison to other driving schools in Cavite, Reyes Driving Institute is still quite popular in Cavite due to their detail-oriented yet very patient instructors and their very affordable fees.

Currently, Reyes Driving Institute offers three main categories of services: They can handle classroom lectures on road safety and traffic laws, licensing assistance, and driving lessons.

Whilst popular, it appears that Reyes Driving School has a limited training vehicle fleet. Based on their course selection, their vehicles are limited to a manual AUV which is a Mitsubishi Adventure, and an AT and MT sedan and lastly, a pick-up truck.

Despite that, Reyes Driving School still enjoys a lot of popularity because of their cordial yet professional instructors and overall excellent service. They also respond very quickly to queries whether on Phone or on their Facebook page.
