The Geely Azkarra 2023 is a five-seater mild-hybrid crossover. For the Philippine market, this model’s sole variant is the Azkarra Luxury, which comes with a Azkarra price tag of Php 1,808,000.
Under the hood of this Geely made crossover is a 1.5-liter inline-3 gasoline engine paired with a 48-volt motor. At maximum, it can produce up to 190 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to all of its wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Size-wise, the Azkarra is 4,544mm long, 1,831mm wide, and 1,713mm in height. It also has a ground clearance of 163mm, and a wheelbase length of 2,670mm.
Locally, it competes against the Toyota RAV4, Ford Territory, Subaru Forester, Chery Tiggo 8, among others.
Launch
Geely Philippines’ newest addition to its line-up is the Azkarra 2023 which was initially launched in March 2020 since its public launch event postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the new compact crossover is already being marketed in the Philippines.
The brand is one of the first automotive companies that hosted an online launch of a new car model which made headlines last May 2020.

Geely Azkarra Exterior
The Azkarra 2023 sports an expanded version of Geely’s classic grille design. It has grown larger with more pronounced details to create a stronger impression. Its sharp, dynamic appearance is defined by muscle lines on the hood. The Azkarra rides on 18-inch alloys that match the vehicle’s powerful design.
The Azkarra gets LED headlamps that provide more illumination compared to normal halogen lights. The full-range 360-degree panoramic cameras are placed around the rear and front areas of the Azkarra’s exterior.
Geely Azkarra Interior
Expect nothing less than utmost sophistication from the Geely Azkarra Philippines. All seats are wrapped in premium Nappa leather detailed with clean lines. It is equipped with a panoramic sunroof with 100 percent shading efficiency, maximum anti-reflection, and increased UV protection. On top of the dashboard is the frameless interior mirror that dims automatically at night. Control buttons are designed seeming like a piano with tactile keys. Protecting the cabin is a C95 filter which is configured to block dust and other harmful particles from getting into the car.
Right on the center of the dashboard is a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system that’s capable of playing music and movies, as well as display safety settings and exterior camera images.

The Azkarra Philippines is integrated with four wide-angle 360-degree panoramic cameras that are installed in tactical positions around the exterior. Both front and rear cameras cover a field view of up to 90 meters. The footage from the cameras is displayed on the infotainment panel of the car’s dashboard.
One of the primary safety features of the Azkarra is the electronic parking brake and auto hold. With just a push of a button, the vehicle can be put in total stop which is perfect for stop and go traffic situations or inclined roads.
Geely Azkarra Platform & Chassis
The Azkarra 2023 is a front-engine, all-wheel-drive hybrid model. It uses the Geely NL platform, which it shares with the Geely Borui sedan sold in China.
For suspensions, this model uses a MacPherson strut for the front, and a multi-link suspension for the rear.
Engine & Drivetrain
The Azkarra Luxury is powered by a 1.5L Turbocharged 3-cylinder DOHC gasoline engine with an additional 48V EMS, which produces 190 hp and 300 Nm of torque.
Moreover, the Azkarra Luxury variant comes with added features such as real-time all-wheel-drive matched with the hill start assist and hill descent control technologies that provide more control and safety in inclined roads.
