The Kia Picanto 2018 is available with two Kappa gasoline engine options which are made smaller and more advanced than the outgoing model’s for better efficiency and durability.

As for the top-spec GT Line and the mid SL variant, the Korean auto manufacturer offers the 1.2-liter 4-cylinder MPI engine, married to a 4-speed automatic transmission, which is capable of dishing out 84 hp at 6,000 rpm and 122 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The base variant is empowered by a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder MPI engine, mated to a 5-speed manual, producing 67 hp at 5,500 rpm and 96 Nm of torque at 3,570 rpm. Both engines are compliant with Euro 4 emission standards.
