The all-new Suzuki XL7 2020: Specs
While we already talked about the Suzuki XL7’s arrival and its March release here in the Philippines a couple of days ago, we now have information with regards to the said model with regards to its specifications. This is thanks to Philkotse.com’s counterparts in Indonesia where the said vehicle will be sourced.

They were fortunate to get close to this exciting new model from Suzuki and we even got pics! Note though that the Philippine-spec version of the Suzuki XL7 might have some slight differences with the Indonesian version as well as the variants that we’ll be getting in March.

Just like the Suzuki XL7 available in India, the XL7 is obviously a sportier, tougher looking version of the Suzuki Ertiga.
It's more athletic-looking than the Ertiga that's for sure
The XL7, however, is a larger vehicle. It is 55 mm longer, 40 mm wider, 20 mm taller and has 20 mm more in terms of ground clearance in comparison to the more elegant Ertiga. On top of that, the XL7’s turning radius is actually tighter than the smaller Ertiga.

It's the same old K15B engine found on the Ertiga and a number of other Suzuki engines
Apart from being larger, the XL7 also sports a differently shaped, edgier grille, black colored cladding all around, and a delicious looking set of 16-inch wheels.
Inside, the XL7 like the Ertiga has fabric clad seats though the dash is made more pleasing to the eye with splashes of faux carbon. This is a boon to those who are not fans of the faux wood found on the Ertiga.

Suzuki XL7 2020: Pricing
With regards to pricing, a lot of sources are saying that the top of the line Alpha trim will be priced at Php 1.060 million.
This obviously undercuts the top variants of the Honda BR-V which is now priced at Php 1.155 million, the Mitsubishi Xpander at Php 1.175 million, and the Toyota Rush at Php 1.1 Million.

When it comes to the XL7’s other variants which are called the Beta and Zeta in the Indonesian market, we’ll just have to wait for Suzuki Philippines for more news. Heck, we aren’t even sure if the local-spec XL7 will be using those names for its variants.
