Initially owned by Walter Owen Bentley, Bentley Motors later became a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group in 1998.
When it was founded in 1919, it was known for its win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the oldest sports car race in 1924, 1927, 1928, 1929, and 1930. Famous models from the oldest sports-racing Bentley to the latest models are sold worldwide. China had the largest sale in November 2012.
