The Bentayga W12 engine was succeeded by the Bentayga diesel, Mulliner, V8, and the Hybrid which brought the Bentley line into electrification. Lastly, the Bentayga Speed was dubbed as the fastest SUV in the world. The New Bentayga was launched in 2020 which is the second generation of the line.

Bentley Bentayga Launch
The latest Bently Bentayga was introduced in November 2015. It became the gauge of defining a true SUV. It was known worldwide as being the fastest, most powerful, and exclusive SUV.
At present, the only Bentayga that went through a facelift is the V8 model. The Speed came with a W12 engine and the Hybrid. The exterior of a Bentayga got a light touch facelift. The matrix grille comes in an upright position. The taillights are totally new and incorporate intelligent LED matrix headlamp technology. The Bentayga got a redesigned gear where the license plate is lowered on the bumper and the tailpipes got a new design as well. The interiors got a new design where it got a new center fascia and steering wheel. The latest infotainment system is included with a 10.9-inch display screen.
Bentley Bentayga Exterior
Bentayga got its refreshed features to make it more stylish and at the same time purposeful. Most of the Bentayga’s features are altered to give it a modern look without having to sacrifice its coefficients of drag or lift. Bentayga, despite its altered looks, JP Gregory the Head of Exterior Design for Bentley Motors saw to it that the Bentayga is still recognized as a Bentley.
The latest Bentayga has a prominent grille and more focused elliptical headlights making it look more modern. The detailed alterations on the Bentayga gathered inspiration from the Continental GT and the Flying Spur limousine.
Elliptical lamps, longer vents, and lower door moldings give the Bentayga a new look. The 22-inch wheel that comes in two finishes is a new addition.
An additional 2 colors of Bentayga are added: the Viridian which is a darker shade of metallic green and the Patina which is off-white.

The Bentley Bentayga came from the Volkswagen Group MLB platform. This is the same platform used on the second-generation Audi Q7. The same underpinnings can also be found on the Porsche Cayenne and Volkswagen Touareg. It has a rack-pinion type of steering with a ratio of (:1) The turning diameter radius is 40.6 feet. The front suspension is a double Wishbone type and the rear suspension is a multi-link type.
For the transmission, it has 8 speeds: 1st gear 4.71, 2nd gear 3.14, 3rd gear 2.10, 4th gear 1.67, 5th 1.29, 6th 1.0, 7th gear 0.84 and 8th 0.67 and for the reverse is 3.32.

The Bentayga’s engine is a twin-turbo premium unleaded V-8, 4.0 L / 244 cubic inches displacement. It runs on gasoline direct injection with a maximum horsepower of 542 at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 568 at 1,960 rpm. Other engines include the 6.0 L twin-turbo W12 petrol, 4.0 L twin-turbo V8 diesel, and 3.0 L turbo V6 petrol PHEV. The Bentayga has an all-wheel drivetrain.
