When it comes to motoring, Bentley continues to prove its name and with the introduction of the new Continental GT, it proves that Bentley never disappoints. The Continental GT uses the latest in aluminum technology on the panels. Bentley Continental Launch

The Bentley Continental GT has been manufactured and sold by Bentley, a British automaker since 2003. The car model was the first to be released by Bentley under the Volkswagen AG management right after the company was acquired in 1998. It was the first Bentley Continental GT to be mass-produced using their manufacturing techniques.

It was in 2004 that the Continental GT was released in the market with a second generation appearing in 2011. It will take a well-trained eye to tell one from the other since the two share the same platform.

When the third generation Continental GT came in 2018, it was then that real transformation took place. The changes were detailed in that the headlights used a certain pattern. The Bentley Continental GT uses the Active Lane Assist technology where assistance is provided in case the driver crosses a lane boundary. For wide areas, the Touring Specification includes pre-sense and night vision that uses infrared technology to have a view even beyond what the headlights can reach.

In high-traffic areas, the Continental GT has a 360-degree Top View Camera to help drives navigate through traffic. Together with the mentioned tech feature is the Integrated Traffic Sign Recognition that detects speed limits, allowing the drivers to actually see the data on the Head-Up Display.

You can enjoy safe driving even with minimal visibility during night rides through the Intelligent LED Matrix beam headlights. It is composed of 55 single-controlled LEDs. These lights are optimized automatically for varied driving conditions.

For the safety features of the Continental GT, it comes with anti-lock brakes, stability control, and front, side, and knee airbags. Seatbelt pre-tensioners are included to provide optimal seating position in case of a collision. A security system where the engine will not start in case an intrusion is detected. The platform of a Bentley Continental GT is under the Volkswagen Group D1. It is powered by a 6.0-litre double turbocharged W12 engine that produces a DIN-rated power output of 560PS (412 kW; 552 bhp) at 6,100 rpm with 650 Nm (479 lbf ft) at 1,600 – 6,100 rpm of torque. It is a standard Torsen-based permanent four-wheel drive. It falls under the Grand tourer (S) class with a body style of a 2-door 2+2 fastback and 2-door 2+2 convertible and F4 layout. It can seat 2-5 people comfortably.

The engine of a Continental GT is a 4.0-liter double turbo V8 gas, 6.0-liter double turbo W12 gas with an 8-speed Automatic transmission. It has an all-wheel drive drivetrain. It has an MPG of 12 City / 19 Hwy and an 8-speed auto shift man w/OD transmission and an active all-wheel drive all-wheel drivetrain.
