How well do you think will these feature-packed Changan vehicles perform?

Chinese car brand Changan Automobile is re-entering the local market with a total of five vehicles, with one electric vehicle (EV). Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) is the official distributor of Changan vehicles in the country.

Changan Automobile is one of the top 4 Chinese carmakers with 37 years of experience in the auto industry. These excellent accomplishments made CMPI president and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo confident that the Chinese car brand will strive in the local market.

Of note, Perez-Agudo is also the president and CEO of Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai cars in the Philippines.

The Changan Alsvin subcompact sedan comes with a sunroof, cruise control, blind-spot, and rear cameras, tire pressure monitoring system, and leather seats. These features could help the Alsvin compete against the likes of the Toyota Vios, Honda City, and MG 5 in its segment.

As for the Changan CS35 Plus, the subcompact crossover offers the local market with a panoramic sunroof, engine remote start, passive keyless entry, blind-spot and rear cameras, 10-inch touchscreen display, and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

The Changan CS75 Plus is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree panoramic camera, engine remote start, 12-inch touchscreen, 7-inch digital cluster, cruise control, triple drive modes, and six airbags.

The Changan CS95 competes in the tight midsize SUV segment with features such as a 2.0-liter turbocharged GDI engine, 6-speed AT, 12.3-inch touchscreen, 10-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree high-definition panoramic camera, and a panoramic sunroof.

Lastly, the Changan Eado EV460 electric vehicle is installed with six airbags, electric stability control, leather seats, and more. The EV is named the best “green” car in China.
