Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) made sure that the global health crisis would not stop it from celebrating its 32nd year in the local market as its Chairman Alfred V. Ty expressed his confidence moving forward.
“In our over 30-year history, we have faced many challenges but this is by far the most challenging we have seen. Of one thing I am sure: this will be our finest moment.
We will draw on our collective strength to support the government in its recovery efforts and we will assure our customers and each one in our Toyota family that we will stand by each other every step of the way,” he said.
This is highlighted by the recent launch of its new Toyota Vios
Needless to say, TMP has been a strong contender in the local auto market since its introduction in 1988. In fact, TMP ended 2019 by clinching its 18th consecutive triple crown, which is a testament to its popularity in the market.
Overall, TMP has put a total of 1.78 million of its vehicles on Philippine roads thanks to its well-developed and refined Toyota lineups such as the Vios, Fortuner, Innova, and more.
TMP’s lineup is not the only contributing factor to its success locally, but also the company’s passion to further enhance customer services and to support the needs of the country. TMP has recently donated 30 Vios vehicles to the Department of Health (DOH) and has produced over 43,000 masks for distribution to essential workers.

In addition, Toyota supported local programs such as Coastal Clean-Up, Mangrove Planting Program, education through the TMP School of Technology, and much more.
As for its customer service, TMP launched a new online app called MyToyotaPH amid the new normal.
This app helps customers maintain their Toyota vehicles without the need of visiting a dealership. Moreover, TMP has also successfully launched a car leasing program called the Kinto One.

As TMP moves forward, it reaffirms its partnership with the Filipino people. “This crisis is surely a very challenging experience for everyone.
But as a market leader, it is our responsibility to elevate customer service even in these most difficult times. We will redouble our efforts in helping to bring the Philippine economy back on track to a better tomorrow. Indeed, we are stronger together,” concluded Chairman Ty.
