The only model that was spared from the price update was the Peugeot 3008, which retained its Php 2,255,000 price.
Peugeot Philippines didn’t release an official statement regarding the said price increases. Then again, updates to a car’s price tag are commonly seen on any market as time goes on.
Peugeot 5008
In the automotive industry, these price updates are usually linked to factors like demand for a specific car model, the prevailing economic conditions of the country, the production costs for car components, import taxes, etc.
Car brands also change the prices of a certain model if it has received updates to their features and exterior styling. That said, this doesn’t appear to be the case for the Peugeot models in question.
For those curious, the Peugeot 2008, 3008, and 5008 are a series of premium crossovers. The subcompact 2008 is the smallest among the bunch, while the midsize 5008 is the largest. The 3008 on the other hand, is a compact model that sits between the two other models size-wise.
Both trims of the Traveller received a Php 65k price increase
Both the 2008 and the 3008 are 5-seaters, while the 5008 can seat up to 7. The 3008 and 5008 in particular, come with advanced driver-assistive safety (ADAS) features. All three crossovers get a stylish and spacious interior, whilst promising punchy and exciting driving dynamics.
The Traveller, meanwhile, is a premium MPV that offers seating for up to 7 or 8 depending on the trim. Its spacious interior features plenty of amenities like a sunroof, ADAS, and captain seats (7-seater), among others.
