Peugeot 2008 Overview

The Peugeot 2008 is a premium and dynamic subcompact crossover built with innovative technology. It features a contemporary, dynamic, and sporty exterior designed with gorgeous curves, sharp detailings, and an outstanding road presence. In the Philippines, the Peugeot 2008 1.6L AT Allure comes in Artense Grey, Bianca White, Cumulus Grey, Dakota Brown, Nera Black, and Virtual Blue.


The first generation Peugeot 2008 was released in 2003 as a replacement for the Peugeot 207 S. Its production was the result of the collaboration between the premium French carmaker and IKCO or Iran Khodro, an Iranian automobile maker. The first Peugeot 2008 was powered by a 1.6-liter Turbo engine mated with a six-speed automatic transmission.  

Its second-generation was announced on June 19, 2019. The revamped crossover was offered in four engine options and was built based on the premium French carmaker’s Common Modular Platform. 

In the Philippines, the Peugeot 2008 was launched in 2015 as the demand for reliable and well-built crossover increased.


The Peugeot 2008 measures 4,159mm long, 1,739mm wide, and 1,556mm tall. It flaunts a dynamic exterior that can brighten up any road. Notable features include a pair of two-tone chrome and black halogen headlamps, integrated daytime running lights, full LED claw-designed tail lights, wide chrome grille, front fog lamps, electric folding and heated side mirror, roof rack, body-colored door handles, front and rear towing hook, rear spoiler with high-mounted brake light, an emergency spare wheel, and a pair of 16-inch alloy wheels.


The Peugeot 2008 offers a comfortable cabin that can accommodate five adults. Interior highlights include a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, leather-wrapped handbrake,  a head-up instrument panel with LED surrounds, power windows, automatic dual-zone air conditioning system, electrochromic rearview mirror, leather-covered front seats with lumbar adjustment, foldable rear seats, Cielo panoramic glass, air-conditioned glove box, driver and passenger sun visors, and Peugeot LED Track interior lighting.

Technology & Safety Features

The Peugeot 2008 is equipped with a seven-inch multifunction touchscreen with USB and Bluetooth connectivity. It is paired with a six-speaker audio system strategically placed inside the cabin.

In terms of safety, the Peugeot 2008 is built with six airbags, an electronic stability program, hill start assist, an anti-lock braking system, parking sensors, immobilizer with an anti-theft alarm, three-point rear seatbelts, automatic and manual central locking system, and electric child-proof rear locks.

Platform & Chassis

The Peugeot 2008 was manufactured using the PSA CMP platform. It is equipped with a MacPherson strut suspension at the front and a cross deformable suspension at the rear. Its braking power is assisted by ventilated discs at the front and rear.

Engine & Drivetrain

The Peugeot 2008 is a front-engine, front-wheel-drive crossover. It runs using an award-winning Puretech turbo engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission guaranteed to produce 120 horsepower with 160 Newton Meters of torque.
