The cabin of the Peugeot 5008 is spacious and is fitted with contemporary features that are designed to provide utmost comfort to its riders. The Peugeot 5008 is built using the PSA EMP2 platform. It is equipped with a pseudo McPherson axle suspension at the front and twist beam axle with pressurized shock absorbers and hydraulics at the rear. Its braking power is supported by ventilated discs at the front and sliding caliper disc at the rear.

The Peugeot 5008 is a front-wheel-drive SUV powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. It is mated with a six-speed automatic transmission and can produce 162 horsepower with 240 Newton meters. Its transmission can then be controlled manually using paddle shifters.
