Peugeot 5008 2024 Price Philippines & Official Promos

The Peugeot 5008 is a seven-seater crossover sold by Peugeot Philippines. Locally, it comes with two variants, the 5008 Active, which is priced at Php 2,275,000, and the Allure with a price tag of Php 2,435,000. It also has four different color options.

Under the hood of the Peugeot 5008 is a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. At maximum, it can produce up to 162 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to its front wheels through a six-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. 

Size-wise, the Peugeot 5008 is 4,670mm long, 1,855mm wide, and 1,655mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,840mm and a ground clearance of 236mm.

Locally, the Peugeot 5008 competes against the likes of the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-8, Hyundai Santa Fe, among others.

Peugeot 5008 Launch

After being launched in July 2008, the first generation Peugeot 5008 was made available in November a year after. Due to its modern design and roomy interior, What Car? Magazine honored it as the 2010 “MPV of the Year”.

Its second generation was introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 2016. In 2019, the acclaimed French carmaker brought the revamped Peugeot 5008 Allure to the Philippines. 

In 2022, Peugeot Philippines brought in the facelifted 5008. It's still a seven-seater model, but it comes with revamped styling, plus more safety tech and features.

Peugeot 5008 Interior

The cabin of the Peugeot 5008 is spacious and is fitted with contemporary features that are designed to provide the utmost comfort to its riders. The driver and six passengers will enjoy the Claudia leather mistral upholstery detailed with trimmings, eight-way power-adjusted at the first row, flat-folding seat backs at the second row, electric-powered and multi-function steering wheel, electrochromic rearview window, automatic dual-zone air conditioning system with blower at second row,  LED ambient lighting, 12V sockets at the front and back console, and four USB plugs.

Technology & Safety Features

The new Peugeot 5008 Philippines is fitted with a 10-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is paired with six speakers strategically placed throughout the cabin. The driver is also provided with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.

Safety is assured as is it equipped with six airbags, an anti-lock braking system, an electronic stability program, seatbelt indicator warning, front and rear parking sensors, hill start assist, hill assist descent control, warning of tire pressure loss, an advanced driver assistance system, and three-point ISOFIX anchor for child seats. 

As of the 2022 update, the 5008 now comes with an advanced driver assist system. This includes blind-spot monitoring, driver attention alert, and lane keep assist, among others. 

Peugeot 5008 Platform & Chassis

The Peugeot 5008 is built using the PSA EMP2 platform. It is equipped with a pseudo-McPherson axle suspension at the front and a twist beam axle with pressurized shock absorbers and hydraulics at the rear. Its braking power is supported by ventilated discs at the front and sliding caliper discs at the rear.

Engine & Drivetrain

The Peugeot 5008 is a front-wheel-drive SUV powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. It is mated with a six-speed automatic transmission and can produce 162 horsepower with 240 Newton meters. Its transmission can then be controlled manually using paddle shifters.
