The new Peugeot 5008 Philippines is fitted with a 10-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is paired with six speakers strategically placed throughout the cabin. The driver is also provided with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.
Safety is assured as is it equipped with six airbags, an anti-lock braking system, an electronic stability program, seatbelt indicator warning, front and rear parking sensors, hill start assist, hill assist descent control, warning of tire pressure loss, an advanced driver assistance system, and three-point ISOFIX anchor for child seats.
As of the 2022 update, the 5008 now comes with an advanced driver assist system. This includes blind-spot monitoring, driver attention alert, and lane keep assist, among others.

The Peugeot 5008 is built using the PSA EMP2 platform. It is equipped with a pseudo-McPherson axle suspension at the front and a twist beam axle with pressurized shock absorbers and hydraulics at the rear.
