Peugeot 5008 2018 was once unveiled in December last year with the all-new sub-compact SUV 2018 and 3008 compact SUV. This 3-row model is finally rolled out by Peugeot Philippines for the local customers.
With a view to enhancing fuel economy as well as dynamic performance, the latest 5008 applies the typical EMP2 of the company, which stands for Efficient Modular Platform 2 in combination with 1.6L turbo high-pressure engine running on gasoline. This can help this 7-seater SUV reach its top power of 165 hp and maximum torque of 240 Nm with the aid of a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Peugeot 5008 2018 applies the typical EMP2 of the company
Looking at its driving system, Peugeot 5008 2018 is installed Advanced Grip Control to optimize its full power regardless of setting modes, ranging from Normal, Mud, Sand, Snow or even ESP off.
Another remark is Peugeot’s renowned iCockpit. This hi-tech setting allows higher driving position, a capacitive touchscreen with digital display and a compact steering wheel set. Speaking of the back seats of Peugeot 5008 2018, they applies wise fore and aft slides to provide best comfort for passengers. In case of being folded, this row can make way for the total load space of 962L. Even more room is available (1,060 liters) when the seats are removed.
According to the latest car news, this all-new model can be obtained at any authorized dealership throughout the Phlippines with a suggested price tag for retailers of P2,990,000. Till now, 4 colors are offered, varying from pearl white, emerald crystal, pyrite to platinum gray.

The Peugeot 5008 is a seven-seater crossover sold by Peugeot Philippines. Locally, its sole variant, the 5008 1.6 Allure THP AT, is priced at Php 2,435,000. It also has four different color options.
Under the hood of the Peugeot 5008 is a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. At maximum, it can produce up to 162 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to its front wheels through a six-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters.
Size-wise, the Peugeot 5008 is 4,670mm long, 1,855mm wide, and 1,655mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,840mm, and a ground clearance of 236mm.
Locally, the Peugeot 5008 competes against the likes of the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-8, Hyundai Santa Fe, among others.
