Kia Philippines said that it will be offering a single variant for the EV6, the GT-Line Long Range. It comes with distinctive exterior styling that arguably standout in the current sea of vehicles in the country.

The Kia EV6 GT-Line Lone Range has a sleek front end that’s highlighted by the sweptback LED headlights that are integrated with LED daytime running lights. The angular bumper along with the glossy black accents further make the EV6 a head-turner.

The side profile is also never short when it comes to making the EV6 pop out. The prominent fender flares and the two-tone 20-inch alloy wheels make the vehicle look bulky as well as muscular. It also has a glossy black trim on the lower part of the doors which sweeps upward, creating an illusion that it’s connected to the LED taillight pattern. You also might have noticed that the Kia EV6 has a fastback-like profile when viewed from the side.

The 2023 Kia EV6’s rear is probably one of its most distinctive design detail. The LED taillights run through the whole rear end, giving a modern look. The indicator lights or turn signals further add style points to the EV6’s rear.

You’ll be greeted with a contemporary dashboard layout once you step inside the Kia EV6 GT-Line Long Range. The panoramic curved display, composed of two separate 12.3-inch screens dominates the front interior. It has a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster as well as a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. Both screens come with a crisp display, and good resolution. It has a wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as a wireless mobile phone charger.

The aircon vents are also seamlessly tucked into the dashboard, resulting in a clean interior layout. Buttons for the fan speed adjustment are operated via touch on the control bar located below the center air vents.

The two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel is integrated with essential buttons for vehicle function and audio. It also has paddle shifters but its function is not the one you’re accustomed to. The EV6’s paddle shifters are for the adjustment of the regenerative braking system. Setting it on Max or Level 3 will activate the Kia EV6’s i-Pedal feature or the one-pedal driving mode.

At the back, the legroom is abundant but the headroom might be a bit tight due to the EV6’s fastback profile. Up to three individuals can seat on the rear seats. In case you’re wondering, Kia’s all-electric crossover has a Meridian surround sound system with 14 speakers.

Legroom for rear passengers is not a problem

In terms of safety, the Kia EV6 is equipped with tech features that you can expect from modern cars. It has adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, forward collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic alert, rear camera, and front and rear sensors, among others.

The 2023 Kia EV6 GT-Line Long Range variant is equipped with a 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. The Korean car brand said the EV6 can travel over 500 km on a single charge. It generates 226 hp and 350 Nm of torque. It’s a rear-wheel drive car and comes with a single-speed automatic transmission. The EV6 also has three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport.
