During the first-ever virtual Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) Dealer of the Year Awards (DOYA), San Juan Group’s Hyundai Commonwealth Avenue was selected as the 2019 Dealer of the Year in the Passenger Car category.
Operating under the management of Atty. Anna Lyne P. San Juan-Ponferrada, Hyundai Commonwealth Avenue (HCA) managed to come on top out of the 42 Hyundai Passenger car dealerships nationwide.
This means that the aforementioned dealership was the best in 2019 in terms of customer relations management, parts operations, as well as in sales, and after-sales.
Hyundai Commonwealth Avenue receives the 2019 DOYA award
Of note, this is the second time HCA has won the said award. The first time was in 2012.
Apart from the DOYA, HARI also celebrated this year’s theme, which is The Great Reset. The “Reset” part of the theme is an acronym that stands for Resilience, Execution, Synergy, Customer Experience, and Tenacity. The theme overall reflects the company’s reinvigorated drive as well as its new approaches to provide #BetterJourneys to its customers.
To better explain the theme HARI President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo said that:
“The pandemic cannot stop us from giving honor and recognition where it’s rightfully due. The COVID-19 virus has turned mobility upside-down. Yet amidst this topsy-turvy world, we faced our fears and joined forces like never before to create our own Better Normal ecosystem.”
During the virtual event, Atty. San Juan-Ponferrada also thanked HARI President Maria Fe Perez-Agudo for her guidance and support. The HCA President also said that she dedicates this win to the HARI CEO who continues to be their inspiration and driving force.

Hyundai Commonwealth Avenue also bags the Measure-Up Performance Award for 2019
Apart from winning the 2019 Dealer of the Year Award, Hyundai Commonwealth also stands as the Champion in Excellence in Dealership Business Enterprise and Excellence in Sales and Parts Operations. It’s also the champion for the Measure-Up Performance Award.
