Geely Philippines, in partnership with Wheeltek Group of Companies, successfully held a groundbreaking ceremony for its upcoming new dealership in Bataan.
A successful groundbreaking ceremony was held for the upcoming Geely Bataan
Geely Bataan will sit on a 1,600-sqm. lot that can accommodate six to eight cars for display and six cars for service. It will also be the 2nd dealership of the Chinese marque under Wheeltek Group of Companies, with the Geely Cabanatuan as the first outlet.
The upcoming dealership brings Geely Philippines closer to its goal of establishing a total of 40 dealerships before the end of the year. It will be a significant feat as the brand only arrived in the country last 2019. Leading the charge is Mr. Yugo Kiyofuji who was appointed as Sojitz G Auto Philippines’ (SGAP) President & CEO just last month.
“This groundbreaking ceremony for the establishment of another Geely outlet is a testament to the confidence provided by our business partners towards the Geely brand. To date, we have already appointed 34 franchised dealerships nationwide,” said Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) President & CEO Yugo Kiyofuji.
Geely is expanding its presence in Luzon
Upon the opening of Geely Bataan slated in June, individuals residing near the dealership can get to know more about the brand’s vehicles that offer a host of features at a relatively affordable price. These include the Coolray, Azkarra, and Okavango, with the Emgrand as the latest entry in the subcompact sedan market.
The Geely Bataan outlet is located at Roman Super Highway, Brgy. Tenejero City, Bataan. Kiyofuji extended his gratitude to Wheeltek Group which is responsible for boosting the brand’s business network in the province. It will use its experience in the motorcycle business which has been around in Bataan province for over two decades.
“I would like to thank the Wheeltek Group for trusting us once again and investing in another dealership in Luzon,” added Kiyofuji.
