Geely Naga marks brand’s 28th dealership in the Philippines

The company is expected to open 12 more this year.

Geely Philippines has made it clear that it aims to open 40 dealerships by the end of this year. This is part of the Chinese marque’s vision of becoming one of the top brands in the country by 2025.

Now, Geely Philippines is getting closer to achieving its dealer expansion plan with the opening of its 28th dealership in Naga City. The new dealership is managed by Gateway Group, the same company that operates various Geely dealers such as Geely Cebu and Geely Lipa.

“Our goal is for Geely to be one of the top brands in the Philippines by 2025. And to achieve that, we have to continue not only expanding our dealer network but also focusing on the quality of every dealership we build,” said new Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) President and CEO Yugo Kiyofuji.

Located at 26B Concepcion Grande, Naga City, Camarines Sur, the Geely Naga is a 1,200-sqm. outlet that can service six cars at any given time. It is also built with a 6-car showroom that displays Geely vehicles including the Coolray, Azkarra, and Okavango.

The dealership will also feature the newest member of the local lineup, the Geely Emgrand. It is the automaker’s entry into the competitive subcompact sedan segment, offering a wide array of features such as a sunroof, two-tone interior scheme, leather seats, 6-way driver power-adjustable seat, among others.

Interested individuals can visit the Geely Naga from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This dealership is the first to be opened under the leadership of Yugo Kiyofuji. He leads the charge in strengthening the brand’s name in the market through various efforts such as establishing a 40-strong dealer network this year.

“As what I’ve mentioned during the turnover ceremony, Geely Philippines has been expanding its sales exponentially. This is also the reason why we are now exerting most of our efforts in further strengthening our dealer network and providing the best experience and value-added service for our customers,” added Kiyofuji.

Geely Philippines currently offers three models in the local market this 2023. The Geely Emgrand sedan is the cheapest model with a starting price of Php 753,000 for the entry-level S MT, while the most expensive Geely in the Philippines is the Geely Azkarra with a maximum price of Php 1,765,000 for the flagship Luxury 1.5 DCT. There are two crossovers in the Philippine lineup consisting of the Geely Coolray and Geely Azkarra, as well as one MPV which is the Geely Okavango.
