Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP), the official distributor of Geely vehicles in the country, is determined to further expand its dealership network this year.

SGAP Sales and Marketing General Manager Froilan Dytianquin told Philkotse.com during the Emgrand Media Drive that the company is targeting to have 40 operating dealerships by the end of 2022. Dytianquin said that Geely already has 27 operating dealerships in the Philippines, and it is set to open six more dealers this year.
The additional six dealerships are yet to be constructed but Dytianquin noted that it has already signed with SGAP. The locations of the six upcoming Geely PH dealerships have yet to be announced by the company.
This means that SGAP is already expecting to have 33 dealerships as of this writing. But, the company doesn’t want to settle for that number as it targets to have 40 operating dealerships by end of the year.
Geely Las Piñas
Last 2021, SGAP has expanded its network by having a total of 24 Geely dealerships in the Philippines. Just last February 2022, SGAP announced the latest addition to its dealer roster, which is Geely Las Piñas.
Geely Las Piñas features six service bays and a showroom floor that can accommodate up to five cars for display. It is located at J. Aguilar Ave. (CAA Road), Pulang Lupa Dos, Las Piñas City. It is open from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
SGAP president Yosuke Nishi shared that the company has lined up more dealership openings this year to be able to broaden its market reach and give potential car buyers easier access to Geely PH’s model lineup.
Geely Emgrand
The newest Geely vehicle in the local market is the Emgrand, a five-seater sedan that rivals the likes of the Toyota Vios, Honda City, Nissan Almera, among others. It is powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and it delivers 102 hp and 142 Nm of torque.
The 2022 Geely Emgrand comes in two variants with a starting price of Php 798,000 while the top-spec trim retails at Php 908,000.
