You can top up your Easytrip RFID on the go.

The importance of a virtual wallet has been underscored since the start of the pandemic. It makes payments more convenient, as well as limits hand contact. This is why Banco De Oro (BDO) has improved top-up transactions for Easytrip RFID accounts using its BDO Pay facility.

Traverse through Easytrip expressways faster via BDO Pay

Thanks to the new quick-time reloading feature, BDO customers can drive through the Easytrip RFID toll gates seamlessly without dropping by a reloading station to top up. They can reload with only a few clicks on their smartphones. Here are the three steps to top up via the virtual wallet app as per BDO:

  1. Just tap “Pay,” then “Pay Bills.”
  2. Choose “Easytrip” as the biller, then type your 12-digit account number and amount to be reloaded.
  3. Tap “Pay.” Check the summary before confirming payment

For the uninitiated, an Easytrip RFID account is used on expressways managed by the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC). These include the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), C5 Link, and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX).

“The long wait is over. Now, reloading via BDO is quicker. Starting August 25, 2022, your load will be received in minutes when you top up your Easytrip RFID account using BDO Pay,” said Easytrip Service Corporation on an official Facebook post.

The banking company noted that a Php 15 service fee will be applied for over-the-counter reloading transactions, while online transactions will be free of charge. BDO customers can download the BDO Pay app via the App Store or Google Play for free. It also allows faster registration for existing BDO Online Banking users.

A more convenient way of traveling

In addition, the reloading Easytrip RFID accounts is also available via BDO Digital Banking, Business Online Banking, and BDO Branches nationwide. For BDO Digital Banking users, they simply have to enroll their Easytrip RFID accounts so topping up is faster for succeeding transactions.
