Aston Martin has officially partnered with fellow British company Bowers & Wilkins. Through this relationship, the latter will provide premium sound systems that will match the luxury and excitement of Aston Martin’s cars.
Aston Martin DB12
To demonstrate the power of this collaboration, the audio company has provided the all-new Aston Martin DB12 with a new 15-speaker, double-amplified surround sound system. This bespoke set of speakers flaunts high-tech features such as aluminum double dome tweeters, and the company’s proprietary midrange drive units. Sound quality for this set is then reinforced by a powerful subwoofer and 3D headline speakers.
The premium speaker from Bowers & Wilkins is then linked to the Aston Martin DB12’s 10.3-inch touchscreen. In turn, the said display gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

According to Aston Martin Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman, the new speakers on the DB12 is a system that meets their design ambitions for the car. Specifically, its addition results in a vehicle that is very capable of letting its drivers “feel the energy, feel the calm, feel the luxury, all at once.”
Note though, that the sound system in question is not included in the DB12’s standard features list. Instead, it will be offered as an option.
For those curious, the DB12 is dubbed as the world’s first “Super Tourer.” It uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which generates up to 671 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. This enables the car to achieve a zero to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.5 seconds.
DB12 interior
Other notable mechanical features present on the all-new Aston Martin model are an eight-speed automatic gearbox, an electronic rear differential, and as well as adaptive dampers.
Its interior then assumes a driver-oriented layout filled to the brim with quilted leather or Alcantara. Carbon-fiber style decorative pieces are likewise present inside this fancy ride.
