Next-gen Aston Martin DB teased ahead of May 24 debut

Aston Martin has released a teaser for the next-generation DB model ahead of its May 24, 2024 reveal. In a nutshell, the brand describes it as an ultra-luxury vehicle with class-leading performance.

Like with most teasers though, not much is known about this vehicle, and the few pictures provided were shrouded in shadow.  

The brand did say that this car will break free from the limitations that are associated with the term “Grand Touring.” Specifically, it is said that this upcoming car is “no mere GT” and “grand is not enough.”  

Going back to the pictures in the teaser, one shows the car’s front end. Visible are its sculpted clamshell hood, its pair of teardrop-shaped LED light clusters, as well as the all-too-familiar oval-shaped DB signature grille.

The side profile of the upcoming Aston Martin model was also shown, though details were likewise hidden in shadow. From what we can see, it gets a steeply angled windshield, a set of bronze wheels, and a long uninterrupted roofline. The latter suggests that this car is a coupe. 

The teaser also provided a picture focusing on the car’s center console. From this, we can see that the interior will use carbon-fiber-styled trim pieces combined with what appears to be leather. 

The center console shot likewise gives us a glimpse of the car’s onboard features. Surrounding the rather prominent push-to-start button are other toggles, switches for lane keep assist, and a surround-view camera. Also present are controls for the car’s ventilated seats.

It also appears that the suspension dampers and exhaust system of this upcoming Aston Martin can be controlled via their respective buttons as well.  

So what’s this car called? Well, Aston Martin is yet to reveal the name of this upcoming DB model. The brand is also yet to share anything about its engine options.
