If you are considering an Okavango as your next family vehicle, you should also be aware of its preventive maintenance service (PMS) costs to keep the Okavango in tip-top condition. Fortunately, SGAP shared with us the estimated costs that you can expect in owning an Okavango.

The following prices can vary without prior notice and can still depend on your chosen dealership. Geely Philippines has expanding dealerships available nationwide including in Metro Manila, Cebu, and General Santos. Take note, the following estimates are just for ballpark figures.

Maintenance costs for Parts and Labor

Owning a Geely Okavango is relatively easy as SGAP is providing the first 1,000-km PMS for free. The service will include topping up fluids if needed and inspection of faulty parts. But once your mileage reaches 10,000 km (or six months), expect to pay Php 6,150. The costs include Php 3,898 for parts, Php 1,300 for labor, Php 450 for car care kit, and Php 500 for miscellaneous.

The new Urban Plus variant adds a panoramic sunroof

The 20,000-km PMS will come with a higher price as compared to the previous maintenance service. From this point, you probably owned your Geely Okavango for a year now if you daily drive it. Geely Philippines will include services such as replacement of fully synthetic oil (5W40), oil filter, drain plug, air filter, and AC filter.

Those services will cost you Php 8,498.50 including miscellaneous and car care kits. You can save on your next service at the 30,000-km mark, or 1.5 years, as it comes with a total cost of Php 6,476. This will be the first time Geely Philippines will replace your Okavango’s fuel filter, alongside other regular part replacements.

After reaching the 40,000-km mark, you have probably been driving your Okavango for two years. More parts will be maintained, besides the oil and air conditioning system, such as brake fluid and engine coolant. This brings you to a total of Php 13,950.50.

The longer you own the Okavango, the higher the costs tend to get. For example, the 100,000-km or 5-year PMS will require you to replace the drive belt and coolant pump belt which cost Php 11,978,50 including labor, miscellaneous, and car care kit. The peak cost in owning an Okavango is on the 200,000-km or 10-year PMS with a price at Php 15,090. This is if you still decide to keep the unit at that point.
