Another mobility solution offered by TMP.

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), in partnership with Singaporean-based smart mobility technology firm SWAT, continues to provide excellent mobility services by providing a free booking service application named SWATRide. This allows Filipino commuters to view seat availability and reserve preferred seats on point-to-point (P2P) buses plying the UP Town Center – Glorietta 3 route from July 20, 2020, to October 20, 2020.

With this, TMP hopes to provide a reliable, convenient, and safe transportation for the commuting public as the country is adapting to the new normal. The SWATRide app is developed in consultation with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

Likewise, TMP worked with Delta Neo Solution, the transport service operator of P2P buses, to seamlessly integrate SWATRide in the passengers’ experience.

To get started, users of the app will only need to register using their email, preferred name, and mobile number. Users of the app will choose their preferred date and time of departure then the app will provide them with a boarding pass. Payment will be made at the terminal prior to boarding.

Get through your day easier with SWATRide app

To ensure every passengers’ safety, all project partners have committed to keep the P2P buses well-sanitized and to observe physical distancing protocols at all times. Over 300 passengers are expected to be served daily.

SWAT, with the help of TMP and Toyota Mobility Foundation, has already started providing ten free shuttles equipped with its book service last May. These shuttles are used by around 200 healthcare workers of the Philippine General Hospital under the DOTr’s ‘Free Ride for Health Workers Program.’

The new SWATRide app can be downloaded from the App Store, Google Play, and Huawei App Gallery.
