Toyota PH aids motorists this Holy Week rush with free car inspection

The company wants everyone to have a safe long weekend.

As the Holy Week rush approaches, automakers have started to roll out programs that will ensure the safety of their customers. Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is the latest to join the fray by offering a free 21-point vehicle safety inspection service.

Toyota aims to keep motorists safe this Holy Week

The free service can help find faulty components of vehicles so owners can get remedy ahead of the long weekend. With it, road incidents can be minimized considering that many motorists will be out on the road in the coming days.

Components such as tires, windshield wipers, brake fluids, drive belts, engine oil, coolant, and battery will be part of the inspection. Note that this is available until April 5 at any authorized Toyota Dealer and Service Center (excluding Body & Paint Centers).

TMP is also offering a free Caltex Saveplus Card for Toyota owners who will avail of additional services when they bring their vehicle in for checking. The card can be used to get a fuel discount of Php 2.00 per liter for Gasoline (Platinum or Silver) or Php 1.00 per Diesel.

Safety is the priority at TMP

Among the additional services include but are not limited to preventive maintenance check-up, general service repair, aircare, engine detailing, body and paint repairs.

Additionally, the company is offering roadside emergency assistance from April 6 to 9 at the following dealers:

 Luzon Visayas Mindanao

 Toyota Baguio

Toyota Bataan

Toyota Calamba*

Toyota Calapan City

Toyota Camarines Sur

Toyota Ilocos Norte

Toyota Lucena

Toyota Silang

 Toyota Mabolo

Toyota Mandaue South

 Toyota Davao

* Shell Station SLEX SB (Muntinlupa), NB (Mamplasan)

Government agency Land Transportation Office (LTO) will also be at one with automakers in keeping motorists safe with its heightened alert campaign. This campaign will conduct roadworthiness inspections of public utility vehicles (PUVs), carry out random drug testings, and bolster its apprehension efforts for violators.
