The ongoing pandemic pushed the government to implement strict quarantine protocols to limit the transmission of COVID-19. As such, going out and taking public transportation were suddenly stopped especially during the height of the enhanced community quarantine.
As quarantine protocols are starting to ease up, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) wants to help owners of Hiace Commuters that are being used for UV express, company fleet, shuttle, among others by launching a campaign called Oil-In promo.
TMP’s Oil-In promo offers Toyota Hiace Commuter owners to avail of discounted change oil and filter services from any Toyota dealer nationwide. This promo is available until December 29, 2020.

With the promo, Toyota Hiace Commuter owners with models from 2005 to present can get their van’s oil and filter changed for Php 1,999 only, saving a total of Php 1,170. Of note, this excludes the Hiace Commuter Deluxe variant.
As for Hiace models from 1996 to 2005, customers can avail of the Oil-In promo for Php 1,599, saving a total of Php 954.
The change oil and filter service include labor, Toyota Genuine motor oil (Mineral), Toyota Genuine oil filter, Toyota Genuine drain plug gasket, materials, and car wash. TMP clarified that the Oil-In promo cannot be availed of together with the existing Toyota Service Promo.

“The Toyota Hiace, the Commuter variant, in particular, has played a big role in moving people and industries through the years, and its usefulness has become more evident now that physical distancing is the norm,” said Rainnier Gregorio, TMP’s first vice president for Customer Service Operations.
“Commercial Hiace drivers and operators have been doing great service to the public, we’d like to assist them, especially now that most of them need assistance to restart their operations,” he added.
