Make your trips hassle-free.

As the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) gets stricter on the implementation of safe contactless payments on toll roads, the need for an easy and hassle-free RFID reloading system has surged. Fortunately, PSBank is rolling out the PS Mobile App, enabling its customers to instantly reload their Autosweep and Easytrip Toll RFIDs.

PSBank RFID reloading system

To get started, motorists who have a PSBank account need only download the PS Mobile App on their mobile phones. The next step is to select ‘Pay Toll RFID’ from the ‘Create a Transaction’ menu, and choose between Autosweep and Easytrip. Enter the required toll RFID details such as the plate number/card number and the preferred load amount.

The load transfer is in real-time to avoid inconvenience even while on the go. Take note, a Php 10 fee will be deducted per Autosweep/Easytrip RFID reload transaction. Autosweep RFID reload transactions will deduct from PSBank Accounts, while Easytrip RFID reload transactions will deduct from Easytrip Accounts.

A hassle-free way to get around town

Aside from PSBank, other online platforms such Banco De Oro (BDO), PayMaya, and Gcash are also offering instant reloading of Autosweep or Easytrip RFID. With these hassle-free online programs, motorists will have less chances of being flagged by the TRB’s recently implemented three-strike policy.

The three-strike policy penalizes motorists who use a toll road with insufficient balance for the third offense with a Php 1,000 fine, as well as having their driver’s license confiscated. The TRB said that this was implemented to establish a mechanism to mainly educate RFID users regarding their responsibilities and obligations as road users.

Monitor your account balance and reload accordingly to avoid inconvenience

Autosweep RFID is used on toll roads managed by San Miguel Corporation (SMC) including South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), Metro Manila Skyway, Ninoy Aquino International Airport Expressway (NAIAX), Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX), Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (Star Tollway), and Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX).

On the other hand, Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) tolls roads including North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), C5 Link, and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) use Easytrip RFID.
