Peugeot PH is now under a new distributor named Astara, a Spanish automotive dealer that was established way back in 1979. It has its presence in 16 countries including Spain, Portugal, Germany, and Colombia, with the Philippines as the company’s first Asian country.
The new Peugeot 3008 was first unveiled globally in September 2020 featuring a modern-looking design that’s highlighted by the front grille. It also has LED headlights that are complemented with strip-like lighting pointing downwards. The rear, on the other hand, is fitted with dark tinted LED taillights, and comes with a set of 19-inch aluminum wheels.
It comes with a two-tone interior
Inside, it has a two-tone cabin with wood accents. Placed right at the center of the dashboard is a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which is an essential feature in today’s smartphone era. It also has a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, Nappa leather upholstery, multi-point massage seats, a dual-pane sunroof, and a frameless rear-view mirror.
Peugeot PH has yet to share details in regards to the full specs as well as the powertrain options for the new 3008. The global spec Peugeot 3008 can be equipped with a number of options from gasoline, diesel, and hybrid power units.
The gasoline engines can be 1.2-liter or 1.6-liter. The smaller gas engine delivers 130 hp and 230 Nm of torque while the latter has 180 hp and 250 Nm. The diesel power unit is a 1.5-liter engine that makes 130 hp and 300 Nm.
