Suzuki Philippines, Inc. (SPH) announced that it successfully opened a new dealership for its customers in southern Philippines.
The new Suzuki Auto Matina in Davao City
The new Suzuki Auto Matina in Matina, Davao City, is one of the biggest dealerships of SPH. It is also the sixth dealership under the management of the company’s long-time partner, Autocentral Hub. Now, the new dealership aims to expand the reach of the Japanese marque in the Mindanao region.
“The opening of Suzuki’s newest dealership in Davao reflects our continuing efforts to bring the brand to more Filipinos looking for a reliable mobility partner. This also shows our support for the Philippine economy recovery as we hope to contribute in generating job opportunities for Filipinos in Davao City,” said Suzuki Automobile Director and General Manager Mr. Norihide Takei.
Suzuki held a successful opening ceremony
With a lot area of 3,000 square meters, Suzuki Auto Matina is built with eight service bays for after-sales programs such as preventive maintenance service (PMS). The dealership also has a showroom that can accommodate up to seven display units.
One of the models Davaoeños can get to know more about is the next-gen Suzuki Celerio, which was launched in May this year. It comes with changes in the dimensions and tech, including the powertrain as the hatchback now gets a new 1.0-liter K10C 3-cylinder gasoline engine rated at 66 horsepower and 89 Nm of torque. The engine can be paired to either a 5-speed manual transmission or the Auto Gear Shift (AGS) automated manual gearbox.

Suzuki claims that the new and more efficient power unit can deliver 28.25 km/l. This is an important factor that car buyers might want to consider with high fuel prices. Suzuki Auto Matina will continuously be working so individuals residing near the dealership can know more about what Suzuki cars can offer.
“Suzuki Philippines is excited for this new development, and we are optimistic this dealership will complement the company’s business momentum this 2022,” added Takei.
