Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP)’s aggressive dealership expansion plan for 2021 is rapidly being delivered to reach more car buyers nationwide. The latest addition of Geely Philippines is strategically located in the country’s capital city, Manila.
Geely Manila
The newly-opened Geely Manila follows the inauguration of the Chinese automaker’s new dealership in Iloilo. It was supposed to be launched earlier but was postponed due to the threats of the COVID-19 pandemic that disrupted many local businesses.
“This event holds significance as it will be our first dealership undertaking despite the ongoing COVID pandemic. Almost three decades after we have refocused and strengthened our car business. We are adding to our portfolio by building a very modern Geely dealership to service more Filipino customers,” said House of Investments President and CEO Lorenzo Tan during the groundbreaking ceremony.
Geely Coolray
Planted on a 1,697-sqm. land, Geely Manila comes with six working bays to address preventive maintenance services (PMS) and other after-sales services. It is also constructed with a showroom that can accommodate up to five models.
The current Geely models available in the local market include the Coolray, Azkarra, and Okavango. The Coolray is a subcompact crossover that is hailed as the best-selling unit in its class on multiple occasions. Meanwhile, the Azkarra is a compact crossover that boasts a mild hybrid system. Lastly, the Okavango is a 7-seater vehicle that was launched just last November 2020.
Geely Okavango
Manileños may visit Geely Manila at 1502 Paz Mendoza Guazon Street, Paco, Manila. Its doors are open from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For concerns, Geely Philippines said to look for the new dealership’s Branch Manager, Cristine Reyes.
“Operating and keeping businesses afloat have become a struggle since the past year. We are grateful for our partners who continue to trust and invest in us amid this challenging time,” said SGAP President and CEO Yosuke Nishi.
