It is no secret that the 2024 Mitsubishi Xforce is coming to the Philippines. Social media has been hyping up this upcoming model, and numerous automotive news outlets are talking about it as well.

But for those who haven’t kept up with the latest car news, they might be asking what even is the “Xforce?” Also, what can prospective buyers of this all-new Mitsubishi expect from it?
So without further ado, here’s what we know about the 2024 Mitsubishi Xforce which will be launched soon for the Philippine market.
The Xforce, which was initially released for the ASEAN market back in 2023, is a five-door five-seater sub-compact crossover SUV. It was derived from the XFC Concept car which was previewed by the Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) at Newport Mall in Pasay City last year.
As mentioned above, the Xforce falls within the B-segment. This means that this will be the brand’s smallest offering in the local market. But despite its relatively small size, it will get the same design beats as other larger locally available Mitsubishis.
The Indonesia-spec Mitsubishi Xforce
For instance, the Xforce that’s already out for other ASEAN countries gets the brand’s new take on its iconic “Dynamic Shield” design. This means it has a similar-looking pair of T-shaped LED headlamp clusters, a mesh grille, and a beefy front and rear bumper.
With that said, this small crossover SUV will have the same visual impact as its larger cousins like the Mitsubishi Xpander MPV and the next-generation Mitsubishi Triton pickup truck.
Speaking of size, the upcoming Xforce will likely have a length of 4,390mm, a width of 1,810mm, and a height of 1,660mm. It also has a ground clearance of 222mm and a wheelbase length of 2,650mm.
The Xforce’s interior will also get plenty of modern touches like a detailed dashboard with digital displays and plenty of soft-touch surfaces. But while it looks contemporary, the other versions sold in the ASEAN region get physical buttons for its automatic climate control system. It also sports a steering wheel that’s similar in design to the one on the locally available Xpander and Triton.
Xforce gets a well-appointed cabin
We can likewise expect that the one coming to the Philippines will be getting a 12.3-inch touchscreen paired with an eight-piece Yamaha sound system, an eight-inch digital gauge cluster, and 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats, among other features.
For power, the Xforce that’s already being sold in the ASEAN region depends on a 1.5-liter gasoline four-banger paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). MMPC has yet to share anything about this Philippine-spec version of this powertrain, but it can likely send 103 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque to the vehicle’s front wheels.
The pricing for the 2024 Mitsubishi Xforce remains a mystery for now, but do note that it will be facing the likes of the Honda HR-V, GAC GS3 Emzoom, Hyundai Creta, Peugeot 2008, Nissan Kicks, and Toyota Yaris Cross once it launches for the local market next month.
