Mercedes-AMG is sending the sportier iteration of its E-Class sedan out with a bang with the introduction of the E 63 S 4MATIC+ Final Edition. It will be the last V8-powered Mercedes-AMG E-Class, and will be offered in sedan and wagon body configurations.
Mercedes-AMG E-Class Final Edition
The Final Edition exclusively features a matte Graphite Gray Magno paint job. It is complemented by the 20-inch AMG forged wheels in ‘high-sheen’ black, contrasted by red brake calipers. To showcase that it is the sporty version of the model, AMG emblems are placed on the C-pillars.
As an option, the sports sedan will be offered with the AMG Night Package. Included in the exterior-enhancing package are numerous elements in high-gloss black, AMG side sill panels, beltline trim strips, and window surrounds. It also comes with two trapezoidal, black chrome twin tailpipe trims for a sportier rear-end look.
The interior gets the Final Edition treatment as well
Inside, the Mercedes-AMG E-Class Final Edition is equipped with AMG Performance seats, offering comfort and an aesthetic finish. Exclusive to the model are the “AMG FINAL EDITION” badge and “1 of 999” inscription as only 999 units will be sold. Other interior features include ambient lighting, yellow contrast stitching, and black AMG floor mats.
As said earlier, the Final Edition will be the last V8-powered AMG-badged E-Class with its 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine that makes 604 horsepower. The powertrain will also be utilizing a fully variable all-wheel-drive (AWD) system with Drift Mode. In a zero to 100 km/h run, the sporty sedan does it in 3.4 seconds.
The last V8-powered Mercedes-AMG E-Class
It is unclear whether some of the 999 Mercedes-AMG E-Class E 63 S 4MATIC+ Final Edition units will be allotted to the Philippines. If none were to arrive, Filipino car buyers can instead get the non-AMG Mercedes E-Class facelift which made its local debut earlier this year.
