Kia new logo starts to roll out in Asia – when will the PH get it?

It will start using the new logo this year.

A couple of months ago, Korean car-maker Kia unveiled its new logo. It represents the brand’s transformation into becoming bolder, and it also conveys the company’s move towards more innovation. As to how it looks, the letters that spell the brand itself are now closer to each other, and they look sharper as well.

Fast forward to the present, Kia’s new logo has started to appear in Asia. More specifically, India will be receiving it first. This occasion will then coincide with a Kia brand relaunch which will shift the company’s name in that region to Kia India.

Furthermore, Kia India will also be launching the updated Seltos and Sonet sometime next month. It was confirmed that these upcoming models for the Indian market will be using the new Kia logo.

Other countries in Asia that are now using the new Kia logo include the brand’s home country of South Korea. Moreover, Kia Malaysia’s official channels are also using the new logo.

Of note, Dinamikjaya Motors, the official distributor of Kia products in Malaysia is currently updating its website, and this might mean that the said site is getting the new logo too.

In the Middle East, Kia Saudi Arabia’s official website is already utilizing the new logo. The same goes with Kia Qatar, Kia Kuwait, and Kia Oman.

For Kia North America, the first two models to actually use the new Kia logo are the refreshed Stinger for the 2022 model year and the all-new 2022 Carnival. The Stinger was released to the said market on March 16, 2021, while the Carnival made its US debut on February 23, 2021.

How about the Philippines? Well, Kia Philippines mentioned in a media briefing that the new Kia logo will be arriving this year. For now, though, there’s no definite date for that yet, so watch this space for more updates.
