With the prestige recognition Kia received, Kia Philippines President Manny Aligada explained that the results are the outcome of the brand’s commitment to providing reliable and innovative vehicles. Just like how the Korean carmaker’s new global motto goes, “Movement that Inspires.”

“From the beginning, we have anchored ourselves on the brand’s reliability that Filipinos can count on. This recent acknowledgment just boosted our motivation to inspire the local automotive market and up their game in terms of giving the market what they truly deserve,” said Kia Philippines President Manny Aligada.

According to the VDS, Kia scored 97 problems per 100 vehicles (97 PP100), 35 problems less than the previous year. Contributing to the Korean carmaker’s success are the Kia Sportage and Sorento which have topped their respective segments in terms of reliability.

Both of the said Kia vehicles are included in the Korean carmaker’s Philippine lineup.

“The highest level of dependability that our customers experience with our vehicles is the same level they will experience with our services. That’s how we can bring back and maintain consumer confidence in the Philippine automotive market,” Aligada concluded.

Among all the models, the Kia Sephia, while was not mentioned as one of the best Kia models, has been known as a reliable car model. Particularly, the Kia Sephia 2016 is considered great for daily commute.
