Without a doubt, the Geely Coolray is one popular model as it made its name known in the local market as a nifty subcompact crossover choice. It is considered one of the best-selling vehicles in its segment thanks to its wide array of features while keeping a relatively affordable price.

However, Geely Philippines isn’t the only one to gain success from the subcompact crossover. Globally, the Chinese automaker announced that it has sold nearly 400,000 units of the Coolray. This impressive feat is achieved on the second overseas launch anniversary of the model.
The Geely Coolray was first introduced in its home market in China last October 2018. It didn’t have trouble finding its place as it was included in the top three best-selling subcompact crossover in the said market. Fast forward to September 2019, Geely started to roll off the model to global markets.

In Russia and Saudi Arabia, a cumulative sales growth of over 230 percent year-over-year from January to August 2021 was attained. Russian Auto News also granted the Geely Coolray the Best Budget Car award, signifying why the model is an ideal buy for its given price.
Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP), Geely’s official distributor in the country, offered the Coolray first in the local market when it arrived last 2019. The PH-spec Geely Coolray boasts features such as full LED headlamps, a 360-degree camera view, and a panoramic sunroof. Also, the sporty styling of the crossover appealed to a lot of Filipino car buyers.

With all that being said, one can say that the Geely Coolray is designed to compete at an international level. Locally, the subcompact crossover comes with a price tag that ranges from Php 978,000 to Php 1,198,000. Geely Philippines is also offering the new Coolray Sport Limited at Php 1,218,000.
