GAC Motor Philippines has been active in participating in various automotive events in the country. Recently, the Chinese automaker joined the 2021 Kalayaan Cup Endurance Race where it managed to take home the first runner-up spot at the event’s 12-hour endurance challenge using the GAC GA4 compact sedan.

Now, it announced its partnership with the Integrated Cycling Federation of the Philippines to become the official mobility partner of the 2021 PhilCycling National Trials for Road. This event will be held at Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone in Pampanga from July 10 to 11, 2021.
The 2021 PhilCycling National Trials for Road will hold two races, namely the Individual Time Trial (ITT) and Criterium. The ITT road races are set at a 24.6-kilometer loop, men should accomplish six laps while four laps for women. On the other hand, the criterium will be over a 2.3-km circuit at the Clark Parade Grounds.

As the event’s official mobility partner, GAC Motor Philippines will be providing the race with its sedans and crossovers to service the event marshals and executives of PhilCycling. Moreover, spectators and guests will have the chance to see the brand’s vehicles at GAC Motor Pampanga and GAC Motor Tarlac, which are near to the event.
The GAC vehicles that will be used in the event include the GA4 1.3 AT sedan, GA8 2.0 GL executive sedan, GS3 1.3 AT subcompact crossover, GS4 1.5 AT and GS4 4x2 Premier compact crossovers, and the GS8 4x2 Sport midsize crossover. These vehicles are built on a high-strength steel-safe chassis which should provide safer mobility at the 2021 PhilCycling National Trials for Road.
