Ford Ranger fans might be running with excitement as the 2022 Ranger Raptor will be officially unveiled this month. But before that takes place, the upcoming pickup truck has been spotted yet again after getting spied on Thai roads just late last month.

In a report by Carsales, the next-gen ‘T6.2’ Ford Ranger Raptor is believed to be in its final stages of testing before making its debut. Looking at the photos shared by Kurdistan Automotive Blog, the truck is still wearing the same camouflage as the previous road test. But this time, images of the front end have been leaked.
Just like the current Ford Ranger Raptor, the new one still comes with the massive ‘FORD’ lettering on the revised grille, a bash plate, and fog lights on the outer edges of the front lower bumper. The most noticeable difference is the new C-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs) which are reminiscent of the Ford F-150.

The character lines on the side of the truck are barely seen due to the red-themed camouflage. It does get large wheel fenders, all-terrain tires, and blacked-out wheels. As for the rear end, the new model adopts a dual exhaust setup and the new taillights that were introduced by the latest iteration of the Ford Ranger.
Considering that the Ford Ranger is now available with the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, the more performance-oriented Ranger Raptor is expected to be powered by the larger mill as well. However, this info still needs confirmation which might only happen once the new midsize pickup truck is unveiled.

As of this writing, the American marque hasn’t disclosed the exact launch date of the 2022 Ford Ranger Raptor just yet. That said, we can only expect to see the new model debut before this month ends.
