Rolls-Royce Motor Cars aimed to create the quietest convertible in the world, thus, the Dawn was born. Boasting of its refined appearance that follows the British brand’s design philosophy, it is complemented with a youthful and active interior theme while maintaining its elegance. The Rolls-Royce Dawn prides itself as a handmade luxury convertible which has been acclaimed in the automotive industry as the definition of the “very essence of luxury motoring”. Beyond aesthetics, the Rolls-Royce Dawn is substantially powered through a 6.6-liter Twin-turbocharged V12 gasoline engine attached to an 8-speed automatic transmission that ensures smooth and comfortable drives. Its independent and pneumatic suspension system adds to luxury convertible’s ease in handling.
Launch
The Rolls-Royce Dawn was first introduced globally in 2015. A year later, it arrived in Philippine shores through British Bespoke Automobiles, Inc. in July 2016. There is only one variant offered locally which is the Rolls-Royce Dawn V12 AT.

Exterior
The luxury convertible is based on the Rolls-Royce Wraith, sharing a similar front fascia and the familiar slim projector bulb headlights, waterfall grill, suicide doors, and the Spirit of Ecstasy. However, the British brand boasts that 80% of the Dawn’s body panels are unique. Its Midnight Sapphire color tone is accentuated with rosewood veneers around its body, embodying the Rolls-Royce signature craftmanship and elegance.
The convertible is distinguished by a defined shoulder line and a steeply raked windshield. It also comes with the Silent Ballet feature which is a noiseless mechanism for the Dawn’s fabric top that can operate within 20 seconds. Completing the look are 21-inch forged polished wheels.
Interior
Inside the Rolls-Royce Dawn is a more vibrant feel with a Mandarin Orange interior color scheme. The sporty, youthful cabin is decorated with timeless elements that refine the aesthetic. It features generous space for four individuals with seats wrapped in high quality leather. Various types of trims are available to choose from, ranging from wood to aluminum.
Adding to the convertible’s luxury is an ambient lighting package which is also highly customizable. Iconic Rolls-Royce design elements incorporated in the Dawn are an analogue clock, three spoke steering wheel, and headlight controls.
Technology & Safety Features
The Rolls-Royce Dawn is equipped with a decent entertainment console through a BMW-based system in which a scroll wheel is turned to activate. The Rolls-Royce Bespoke Audio system comes with a music interface for smartphones. It also comes navigation-ready for the driver’s convenience.
