Rolls-Royce started as an electrical and mechanical company established by Henry Royce in 1884. He created his first motor vehicle in 1904, the Royce 10. In the same year, Royce met Charles Rolls who owned a company that sold high quality automobiles in London. The two came to an agreement that Royce Limited would manufacture vehicles to be exclusively marketed by CS Rolls & Co. Thus, Rolls-Royce was born.
