Thanks to the Skyway Stage 3, the travel time from SLEX to NLEX will significantly reduce from around three hours to 20 minutes only. Motorists traveling from Balintawak to NAIA and Magallanes to Balintawak can expect a 15 minute travel time.

Areas prone to heavy traffic such as EDSA, C5, and Central Metro Manila will now have lesser traffic courtesy of the Skyway Stage 3. SMC shared that the Skyway Stage 3 will reduce the traffic congestions in the said areas by as much as 55,000 vehicles daily.

SMC President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ramon S. Ang commended the entire team that worked on the Skyway Stage 3 in a Facebook post. He also expressed his gratitude towards the Duterte administration, Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar, Department of Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade, and Department of Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez for the support the project has been receiving.

With the completion of the Skyway Stage 3, SMC is now eyeing the completion of the Skyway Extension from Susana Heights to Sucat. The completion of the Skyway Extension was supposed to be this December as well but was moved to February 2021 due to an accident that injured at least four people.
