The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has announced that the free rides for medical frontliners, essential workers, and other authorized persons outside or residence (APOR) are available once more.

Of note, this free ride project is under the Service Contracting Program of the DOTr and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB). As of September 13, 2021, the free ride services have started servicing several different routes in Metro Manila, Region 1, Region 2, and Region 10.
Besides helping APORs, and medical frontliners in getting to where they need to be, the free ride project is also aiding the many drivers, and transport operators that were affected by the pandemic. The DOTr, after all, is paying these drivers and operators for their services.
For your benefit, here are the routes for DOTr’s Free Ride project:

To keep everyone safe, the DOTr is also reminding everyone who is using public transportation to keenly follow the minimum health and safety protocols. This includes the donning of face mask and face shield, refraining from eating and talking, maintaining physical distancing, among others.
