This brings the total to 25,000 units sold since the crossover’s Philippine debut in 2020.

The next-generation Ford Territory has now sold over 5,000 units since the compact crossover made its debut at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) last April 2023. Consequently, the nameplate accomplished its 25,000 sales milestones since its launch in August 2020.

Next-gen Ford Territory

The announcement follows the sales report that the next-gen Ford Ranger sold over 15,000 units in 14 months. Both next-gen iterations prove they are one of the best-selling models in their respective classes.

“The Ford Territory is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most successful Ford vehicles sold in the Philippines. It is a global product of Ford that complements the needs and lifestyles of Filipino customers, so we are really happy that it continues to resonate in the market even after three years,” said Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen.

Available in the base Titanium and top-spec Titanium X variants, the Territory can be equipped with a set of 19-inch wheels, a panoramic moonroof, a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 12-inch digital instrument cluster.

Exclusive to the Titanium X are a host of advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) functions. Some of these include adaptive cruise control with a stop-and-go function, autonomous emergency brake with pedestrian detection, and lane-keeping aid.

The next-gen version reached its 5,000 sales milestone in five months

Powering the vehicle is a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four gasoline engine. It is the same power unit as the previous-gen version but offers boosted performance figures to 158 horsepower and 248 Nm of torque. The continuously variable transmission (CVT) is also replaced with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

Ford Philippines offers the next-gen Territory at Php 1,335,000 for the Titanium and Php 1,599,000 for the Titanium X. The crossover also comes with a five-year warranty or 150,000 km warranty, whichever comes first.

“We truly appreciate the support and patronage, and we look forward to seeing more Filipinos own every driving moment with the Next-Gen Territory,” added Breen.

For interested individuals who want to see the next-gen Territory for themselves, Ford Philippines will be holding experiential test drive events in Laguna and Pampanga this month. The Laguna leg will happen at the Ayala Malls Solenad in Sta. Rosa from October 13 to 15, while the Pampanga stop will be held at SM City Pampanga from October 27 to 29.
