As of September 2023, the next-gen Ranger sold for 16,127 units. It also remained the company's best-selling model for this year with sales growing by 22 percent compared to last year with 9,113 units sold.

“We are elated with the achievement of this new milestone for the Next-Gen Ranger, which is a true testament to its growing popularity among Filipino pickup truck buyers. It is the smartest, most versatile, and most capable Ranger yet, and was developed with our customers in mind," said Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen.

Competing for sales against the likes of the Toyota Hilux and Nissan Navara, the next-gen Ford Ranger arrived in the country with bolder and more rugged aesthetics underscored by the boxy silhouette. As a pickup truck sibling to the Everest, the midsize SUV also joined the market with the same imposing stance.

Depending on the variant, the pickup is equipped with a 12-inch vertical touchscreen, matrix LED headlamps, and a host of advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) functions. But across the range, the model comes with amenities such as wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an eight-inch digital instrument cluster.

Ford Philippines offers two engine options. One is the 2.0-liter single turbodiesel with 168 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque, while the other is a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel reserved for the top-spec Wildtrak 4x4. It makes 207 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The transmission options include a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic, and a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

In addition, the next-gen Ranger is available with FordPass, which comes with a five-year warranty.

"We thank our loyal base of Ranger owners for their trust and our dealers for continuing to enhance the ownership experience,” added Breen.
