Ford Philippines reported that its retail sales increased by 42 percent from a year ago to 23,091 vehicles sold. The month of September has also been favorable for Ford PH as it recorded its highest monthly sales since May 2020 with 3,391 vehicles sold. The company’s sales were driven by the next-gen Ranger followed by the all-new Territory and Everest.

The next-gen Ranger remained Ford PH’s top-selling vehicle with sales growing by 22 percent from a year ago to 9,113 vehicles sold. But more importantly, Ford PH said that the new Ranger has reclaimed its leadership in the country’s 4x4 pickup truck segment.

The Ranger continues to be Ford PH's best-selling model

The Ranger got back on top of the 4x4 truck class by registering 4,396 units sold over the last nine months of the year. The said sales numbers allowed the next-gen Ford Ranger to own 38 percent market share in the 4x4 pickup truck segment.

The demand for the all-new Ford Territory is still evident in the Philippines as it maintained its momentum in the compact crossover segment with a market share of 46 percent. Ford PH added that sales for the Territory grew by eight percent to 6,955 units sold.

Ford PH said that the all-new Everest clinched the title of being the second best-selling midsize SUV in the market with 6,693 vehicles sold. The said number translates to a notable 255 percent increase from the previous year.

Ford PH also shared that in September 2023, the Everest sold 1,254 units, emerging as the top-selling midsize SUV in the country during the said month.
