The car brand records a 169 percent sales growth in May.

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is proud to announce it has managed to sell 3,229 units in May, a 169 percent sales growth as compared to the previous month. The top contributor to this feat is the Mitsubishi L300 with a total of 1,335 units sold, accounting for 40 percent of the car brand’s sales for May 2021.

Now that the country is in the new normal of doing business, the Mitsubishi L300 addresses the need for a reliable, tough, and dependable business mover. It can be designed with various body configurations to suit different business operations. Powering the utility van is a 2.2-liter turbodiesel that makes 98 hp and 200 Nm of torque.

The Mitsubishi L300 is followed by the Mirage G4 and Xpander, respectively. Both Mitsubishi vehicles are ideal choices for Filipino families as the Mirage G4 subcompact sedan offers practicality and affordability, while the Xpander MPV offers a 7-seating configuration that can benefit big families.

With a total sales of 3,329 units last May, MMPC managed to retain the number two spot in the local automotive sales ranking as per the recent report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines. Inc. (CAMPI). Toyota still leads the ranking at the one spot, while the third and fourth spots were taken by Ford and Suzuki, respectively.
